Where should we tow our car to in the U.S.?

Depending on your car and its manufacture warranty requirements, you may need the work preformed by U.S. designated repair shops. If your not required, then there are several close auto repair shops located in Ajo and Gila Bend.  Kord's NAPA auto parts and repair is located in Ajo.  In Gila Bend there is a .

Does Mexcio have a service like AAA?

No, however the highways throughout Mexico have the Green Angels.  The Green Angels drive the highway between cities and provide onsite road repairs.  This service is free, however be sure to tip the repair man handsomely as he is saving you many hours of grief.

What do we do if we get stuck in sand?

If you get stuck in the sand, there are several tricks to save you time and energy.  Once you feel your stuck, STOP.  Any further attempt to moving is only going to get you deeper into the sand.  If you aren't sunk down to your axel, then clear away the sand around the tires and in the direction your heading.  If you get really stuck deep, you will need to get your jack out and place it near the tires sunk deep.  Place a board underneath your jack, raise the car, place boards under tires while raised off the ground.
