What kind of fish can we expect to catch?
The Sea of Cortez has been a fisherman paradise for many decades. The rocky shores of the lower baja, island
darting throughout with many reefs, coves, bays, lagoons and estuaries provide an excellent nutritent-rich environment for marine life. Much of the sport
fishing is consentrated around the reefs, are there is a reef-fish community. The rocky environment provides food sources as well as protection. For the
avid fisherman, there are multiple reefs at vary distances from Rocky Point. In additon, there is a community of fish that live near the shores. We have
a detailed list if the fish in the area, with a link to another page of our's the is more detailed about the individual fish.
